Time for plants

Last week Randy and I added some plants to our collection.  We have a tomato plant and a hanging basket.  I took a greenhouse class and I was able to get thirty dollars of plants for free for all the work I did in the lab.  We also got Randy's mom a planter.  I really enjoyed the greenhouse class.  It is fun for Randy and I to have our first small garden together.  Last year I tried to grow some radishes before we got married but they didn't produce any radishes.  Maybe we had some Fraggles that stole the radish and left the leaves.
Another exciting thing that I love about plants is that all of the trees and flowers are starting to blossom.  Yesterday I saw one of my favorite flowers on the Utah State Campus.  It is called Salsify(Goat's bear).  It is fun that it opens and closes depending on the time of day.  It closes up in the afternoon.  There is a chestnut tree near Randy and I's apartment and it is in bloom and it is pretty.  Enjoy all the beauty that is around you.

I am grateful for beautiful blue skies. I was looking at the sky today and I thought to myself how beautiful it is. There are so many beautiful creations that were given to us by our loving heavenly father.

Wedding Photos

The best day ever. I love Randy David Shallbetter with all my Heart. He is my prince. I love that I have two siblings and my Dad has two siblings. We had all girls in our family and our Dad had a brother and a sister. I am greatful to have found Randy.

What will you be remembered for?

Yesterday at work I helped my boss clean up an area where her husband's tools were. It got me thinking about what will the items that we leave behind tell about us and also what will people remember by what we did. I got thinking how do my priorities match what I would want someone to remember about me. Do I help others as I should? Do I do the things I say that I will? I love moments in life when I can take a moment and look at life in this way. I am not saying that I am perfect, but I want to learn to stand a little taller, rise a little higher, and be a little better as President Hinckley suggests.(1)

Funny moments

The kiddos just loved the fountain at the temple. I love that Kayden is standing and then he is playing in the water.

I Love My Life, I Love My Wife.
Things have been great for me some of the top reasons I Love Being Married are:

• She isn't loosing stuff at my place and then needing them in the middle of the night, it is now just at our place.
• Our Temple attendance has increased.
• Two words Niece and Nephews.
• There is someone to snuggle with at night

Funny Happenings of Late

It has been so great being married! We are moving into our new place and having lots of adventures. There have been at least two spiders in our apartment so far. I gave myself a cold shower trying to kill the one spider by putting it down the drain with water. We have enjoyed opening all of the presents from people and buying things that we didn't get that we either wanted or needed. It has been a wonderful time.
